Hair and Dancing

So I did this yesterday......

I've been getting really bored with my hair but I know I'll regret it if I cut it short. So....I'll just start shaving off random pieces to keep me entertained! LOL
So far I'm digging it. I left the front fringe b/c I have a kind of natural fringe there anyway. I might end up shaving that too and just leaving the long sideburn. Dunno, will just live and play with it.

Last night was our local goth/industrial night so it was a good excuse to get painted up. Unfortunately we are in a bit of a heat wave and the humidity is killer. I was already sweating by the time I put my makeup on and the thought of a corset or any kind of jewelry made me cringe. It's just too hot!
So I went with simple. Simple makeup, no jewelry and a simple outfit.

Skin:
MAC NW15 Studio Fix Powder
Eyes:
Klean Color It Girl Pallete, white and black
Black Cherry Lashes #113
Lips:
Revlon Colorstay Lipgloss in Bordeaux

Outfit:
Old fadded LEI tank from Target?
Skirt is Express brand via Goodwill
Boots Demonia via ebay

My old arse feels tired today. Staying up till five in the morning does not work well with me. I've got a sleep hangover. Now onto that pile of dishes in the kitchen. sigh......

<3
Cheers!

  1. Very creative with the hair :) Can't wait to see what else you end up doing with it! Love those boots! I can't even imagine staying up til 5! I bet you do have a sleep hangover!

    1. Yeah, I'm an eight hour sleep needing type of gal. I do not do well with late nights.

  2. Oh! You look so nice. The benefit with the saved hair in the front is that it's very easy to cover the shave. I have shaved a big part of half my hair but I can hide it even with a centerpart, the sideburn helps it to look natural, but it's very seldom I hide it now :)

  6. Your hair so cool! I really like shaved heads, but I have so less and so thin hair, I'm afraid I'd look too odd with a hairdo like this...:( but wow, you have really nice hair! ^^
And the second pic is absolutely pretty! ^^

    1. Thin hair was the main reason I shaved. I got partly hair loss at one side.

    2. In reply to both of you- I was super scared to do this b/c I have baby fine hair. I was worried that when I didn't have it flipped over that it would be all stringy looking, like an old man's comb-over or something. It is a little thin but it's okay.

and i got the strangest compliment today when buying new skincare products, quote:
"You know, you are one of few that really looks good in short hair!"
    Ummm... thanks?
So all others looks like shit you mean??
I say go ahead and shave haha!!/Azure

  8. If I shaved part of my head, it wouldn't be long before I was in the tattoo artist's chair, having bats installed on my scalp. Little Japanese-lookin ones (I already have my Edward Gorey one on my foot). Bats for my belfry.

  11. Looks awesome, especially with the coloring and your bangs.

We get those "too hot for jewelry" days out here. The thought of a necklace sticking to the back of my neck when it's 110 degrees is horrible. Your outfit choice is a perfect accessory-free look!

  13. Those boots are badass, and so is your hair. I like the makeup as well; you can't go wrong with super simple eyes and red lips. :)

  14. love your hair this way! and send all the warm weather to this ever-freezing girl over here please? you look perfect and make me really looking forwards to june, 2nd when i go out clubbing again! (and doing a 'maybe no go' since i take a workmate/friend with me who is not goth... yet - she has that atmosphere though so i'm sure gothification already started.)

  16. YAY to the hair!!!!! That looks really cool, I like how it looks with the fringe. I am feeling your pain with the whole heat/humidity thing. At first I'm all like "WOOOOO IT'S NOT SNOWING!!! (I live in Canada, lol) and then I put on my corset and boots and skirt and jewelry and fake hair and ten layers of makeup and then I'm all like.....f*ck, I hate summer!!!!
