I spend a lot of time window shopping on the internet but not a lot of time buying. My family lives on a tight budget so it really takes something special in order for me to click "add to cart". One evening while perusing blogs I stumbled upon a giveaway Horror Shock Lollipop was having for The Soapy Shop of Horrors.
Suze, the owner of The Soapy Shop of Horrors is creating the most original and detailed soap sculptures I have seen. From intricately sculpted zombies and skulls to rib cages on a rope, Suze is transforming ordinary soap into something extraordinary.
I couldn't wait to find out if I won the giveaway because I had to get my hands on some of these soaps. That night I purchased a few items; a large chunky bat, ribs on a rope, two goth bars, and two tiki heads in various scents and colors.
I couldn't unwrap these to photograph because I got the goth bars as a gift for Meagan at Coffin Kitsch because she's the gothiest goth I know and the tikis were part of a birthday gift for her hubby who has been a close family friend for years.
As an added bonus, these two little black hearts were included as a freebie in my order. Ahhhh, my cold black heart approves.
Surprisingly the magikal giveaway fairies sprinkled their dust on me and I won the giveaway on Horror Shop Lollipop a few days later. So, I ended up getting even more awesome goodies from The Soapy Shop of Horrors. Yippee!!!
I'm actually having a hard time using the soaps though because they are so cool looking. The sculpting on these is really well done and they smell amazing. I'm one of those types who won't use something because it's too pretty. Silly I know.
Hubby has been using his ribs on a rope in the shower and I have to say that the almond scent fills up the entire shower area.
I also have to mention that the prices are awesome and super affordable. She's based in the UK and even with international shipping it was very reasonable. Everything came carefully packaged in bubble wrap inside a box.
I noticed that there are a few new soaps added to the store since I was there last, some Mother's Day and St. Patrick's Day shapes and some awesome gargoyles.
So glad for Horror Shop Lollipop for hipping me to this cool online store.
If you visit the shop, please let Suze know at The Soapy Shop of Horror that you found out about her on this blog.
Thanks for reading!
Cheers!
