How to Create the Perfect Winged Eyeliner

I did a guest post at toxid-lotus on how to do winged eyeliner so head on over there and check it out. :)

I had to work with my headphones on today 1. because I was trying to concentrate and hubby was in the living room watching Black Dynamite and losing his shit (yes, I have to concentrate on writing about eyeliner) and 2. because I was listening to some ghetto ass shit and hubby can't stand it.
......but I love eeeeeettttt!

  1. Ooo, I love winged eyeliner - nice tutorial!

Interesting about the tattooed eyeliner - I have my brows tattooed, but I'm not brave enough to get my eyeliner done ;)

  2. If I had the money and were to do it again, I would get it done waaaaay thicker so that it would last longer.

  3. Excellent! I never thought to try drawing the wing first - I always started in the inside corner of my eye and tried to do the liner and the wing all in one swoop. Never seems to work out too well. :)

I wanted to get tattooed eyeliner, but some ladies at my work had their eyebrows done and it only lasted a few months! They paid hundreds for that. Sounded like a big scam to me, so I abandoned the thought. In a perfect world, I would do brows and eyeliner!

    1. I think the brows last a lot longer than the eyelids. You still have to get them touched up every few years though.

  4. My brows have lasted 2 years, which is pretty good! They still look great, just faded - will get them done again this year, as it really is worth it ;)

    1. I think the brows probably last longer than the eyelids. I've thought about doing my brows but I like to change the shape of them too much. ;)

    1. give it a shot. I used to try to do them in one swoop like Kitty mentioned above and it always turned out wonkey. This way, if I mess up with the wing placement, I only have a little bit to clean up- not the whole eye. :)
